About TwoLittleFishes

About me

My name is Nick and I've been creating Web sites since 1998 while studying Computer Science at Loughborough University. I've previously worked for Nottinghamshire County Council, creating Web based learning tools, and for Mansfield District Council as a Web developer.

I was born in 1977, I'm married to Tamsin and we have a daughter called Charlotte. We live in Nottinghamshire, England.

History of TwoLittleFishes

TwoLittleFishes started as a part time business in 2004 to deal with requests from friends for creating Web sites while I was working as a Web designer for a local council.

In 2008 I left the council to become a full-time freelance Web designer.

Ethics

I support people, businesses and organisations who:

• trade fairly,
• treat their workers fairly,
• try to make life better for people in their community and the world at large,
• respect the environment (e.g. recycling or organic farming),
• support their local community.

I do not work with or support people, businesses and organisations who:

• exploit people,
• exploit the environment (e.g. intensive farming or unmanaged logging),
• manufacture chemicals which are harmful to the environment,
• manufacture or profit from sales of tobacco.
