About TwoLittleFishes

About me

My name is Nick and I've been creating Web sites since 1998 while studying Computer Science at Loughborough University. I've previously worked for Nottinghamshire County Council, creating Web based learning tools, and for Mansfield District Council as a Web developer.

I was born in 1977, I'm married to Tamsin and we have a daughter called Charlotte. We live in Nottinghamshire, England.

History of TwoLittleFishes

TwoLittleFishes started as a part time business in 2004 to deal with requests from friends for creating Web sites while I was working as a Web designer for a local council.

In 2008 I left the council to work full time for TwoLittleFishes due to the increasing number of sites I was being asked to create.

Ethical policy

TwoLittleFishes supports businesses, organisations and individuals who:

• trade fairly,
• aim to improve the quality of life for people in their community and/or on a wider scale,
• promote equality and fairness at work and provide a good working environment for their colleagues,
• use methods of working that are good for the environment (e.g. recycling, energy efficiency, organic farming),
• support local trade,
• provide open and honest customer support.

TwoLittleFishes does not support businesses, organisations and individuals who:

• exploit basic human rights,
• manufacture or profit from sales of tobacco,
• manufacture chemicals which are persistent in the environment,
• harvest unmanaged natural resources (e.g. timber, fish).
